How do I store my 18650 and 21700 batteries?

There are a few key points to consider when storing your 18650 and 21700 batteries. Don’t leave them exposed and knocking about in a draw with metal objects such as coins, keys, clips and pins. Also, avoid leaving them in direct sunlight and make sure they’re away from flammable objects or materials.

Finally, make sure they’re kept away from static electric charges. Any of these can damage a battery and increase its risk of exploding. To be safe, store them in a protective container.
