Drift PRO Warranty

  1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers all Fogstar Drift Lithium Leisure Batteries purchased from an authorised Fogstar dealer. The warranty is valid for ten (10) years from the date of shipment.

You must register your battery upon receipt at https://www.fogstar-drift.co.uk/pages/warranty-registration.

  1. What is Covered

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that cause the battery to fail to perform as specified. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • BMS failure
  • Cell failure
  • Faulty temperature sensors
  • Failure to charge or discharge properly
  • Internal corrosion.
  1. What is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage caused by the following:

  • Improper installation or use
  • Abuse, neglect, or accident
  • Modification or alteration
  • Modification of battery parameters without prior agreement
  • Natural disasters or acts of God
  • Connecting the battery to an incompatible charging system.
  1. Warranty Claims

You can submit a warranty claim by contacting Fogstar customer support at customerservice@fogstar.co.uk. You will be required to provide proof of purchase and a description of the problem.

  1. Warranty Repair or Replacement

If you suspect a fault with your Fogstar Drift Lithium Leisure Battery, we encourage you to contact us promptly - simply email customerservice@fogstar.co.uk or ring 01527 757980. 

Our team can guide you through a series of simple diagnostic tests to pinpoint the issue. If remote troubleshooting proves unsuccessful, we will arrange for the battery's collection at no cost to you, and have it shipped back to our technical team for further evaluation.

Upon receiving the battery, our technicians will conduct thorough testing to determine if it falls under the terms of our warranty. If the battery is deemed defective, Fogstar will, at its discretion, repair or replace it. Battery repairs are carried out free of charge, while replacements involve providing you with a new or refurbished battery of equal or greater value.

We strongly advise contacting us as soon as you detect any signs of a battery malfunction. Early intervention allows for faster diagnosis and resolution of your warranty claim.

Fogstar will cover any shipping fees incurred for approved warranty returns.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Fogstar's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the battery. Fogstar is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, loss of use, property damage, or personal injury.

  1. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  1. Entire Agreement

This warranty constitutes the entire agreement between you and Fogstar with respect to the warranty coverage of the Fogstar Drift Lithium Leisure Battery. Any prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written, are superseded by this warranty.

  1. Severability

If any provision of this warranty is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from this warranty and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  1. Amendments

Fogstar may amend this warranty at any time. Any amendments will be effective immediately upon publication on the Fogstar website.
