Thank you for purchasing a Fogstar/Seplos Stackable 48V 5.12kWh battery.

We’re on a mission to make high-quality lithium products affordable and accessible for everyone, and that means standing behind what we build.

1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers the Fogstar/Seplos Stackable 48V 5.12kWh Batteries purchased from an authorised Fogstar dealer. The warranty is valid for six (6) years from the date of shipment. In addition, Fogstar provides ten (10) years of technical support from the date of purchase to assist with any system-related queries, diagnostics, or troubleshooting.

You must register your battery upon receipt at https://www.fogstar-energy.co.uk/pages/register-warranty.

2. What’s Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that prevent the battery from performing as specified. Coverage includes, but is not limited to:

• Battery Management System (BMS) failure
• Cell failure
• Faulty temperature sensors
• Failure to charge or discharge properly
• Internal corrosion.

3. What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage or faults resulting from:

• Improper installation or usage
• Abuse, neglect, or accidental damage
• Modification or tampering (including battery parameters) without prior written consent
• Use with an incompatible charging system
• Natural disasters or other unforeseen events beyond human control.

4. Making a Warranty Claim

Please include your proof of purchase and a clear description of the issue.

5. Warranty Process: Repair or Replacement

If you suspect a fault, contact us as soon as possible. Our team will walk you through simple diagnostic steps to help pinpoint the issue.

If remote troubleshooting doesn't resolve the problem, we'll arrange a collection of your battery and return it to our technical team for further inspection.

If a fault is confirmed under warranty, Fogstar will, at our discretion, repair or replace the battery. Replacements may be new or refurbished units of equal or greater value.

All valid warranty repairs and replacements are carried out free of charge, including shipping both ways.

Important Exception:
In cases where the battery has been over-discharged, or settings have been altered or tampered with, a collection and re-delivery fee may apply. We’ll notify you in advance if this is the case.

6. Limitation of Liability

Fogstar’s liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the battery under this warranty.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of use, property damage, or personal injury.

7. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

8. Entire Agreement

This warranty constitutes the entire agreement between you and Fogstar regarding the warranty of your 5.12kWh Stackable Fogstar/Seplos battery. Any previous communications or agreements, oral or written, are superseded.

9. Severability

If any provision of this warranty is deemed invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be removed, and the remainder of the warranty will continue in full force.

10. Amendments

Fogstar reserves the right to amend this warranty at any time. Any changes will take effect upon publication on our website and will apply only to batteries purchased after that date, unless stated otherwise.
