A New Chapter for Fogstar. Expanding Our Energy Storage Focus.

Over the past few years Fogstar has grown a lot alongside the wider energy storage industry. As things have evolved, so has our focus. Energy storage is moving fast, and we’re seeing huge opportunities in larger systems and new technologies.

Because of that, we have made the decision to step away from supplying 18650 and 21700 batteries.

This isn’t about slowing down. If anything, it’s the opposite. Fogstar is growing quickly in other areas of energy storage, and this shift allows us to focus our time and resources on the parts of the business where we’re seeing significant momentum.

In short, we’re making room for the next stage of our journey.

Supporting Customers Through the Transition

One thing that was really important to us was making sure customers who rely on these batteries aren’t left without a supply.

So we’ve been working closely with a couple of trusted partners to make sure things continue running smoothly for everyone.

Going forward:

• NuBattery will be picking up supply for retail customers, vape wholesalers and vendors, helping keep everyone supplied with the 18650 and 21700 cells they rely on.
  

• Cell Supply will be supporting larger commercial and industrial customers, continuing supply for businesses and projects using cylindrical lithium-ion cells at scale.

The team at NuBattery and Cell Supply are well established in their areas and are well placed to support customers moving forward.

A Smooth and Managed Transition

Fogstar will continue to offer existing stock during the transition period while current products remain available. Behind the scenes, we have been working carefully with our partners to ensure that customers can move across to the appropriate supplier with minimal disruption.

Our goal throughout this process is simple. Keep things smooth, transparent, and straightforward for everyone involved.

Looking Ahead

Energy storage is changing quickly, and Fogstar is leaning into that change.

We’re investing heavily in the next generation of energy storage solutions and larger-scale systems, and that’s where a lot of exciting things are happening for us right now.

The 18650 and 21700 range has been part of Fogstar for the last decade, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without the customers who trusted us and supported the business along the way.
